Baku and Yerevan on the forthcoming meeting of the Foreign Ministers
Baku / 07/31/18 / Turan: A meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia will be held in the framework of the September session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The agreement on this was achieved, the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev said on Tuesday. "There is a principal agreement that the meeting will be held within the framework of the General Assembly.
As for the statement of the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan that the agreement on the meeting has not yet been reached, apparently he is simply not informed," Hajiyev said.
It should be noted that at a press briefing in Yerevan on 31 July, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan said: "At the moment, there is no final agreement on the date and venue of the meeting." -02D-
