Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of violating procedures for the return of hostages

State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing alleged a violation by the Armenian side procedures of liberation of Azerbaijani hostage Telman Aliyev.

The report of the State Commission states that when transferring Aliyev, Armenian side "has gone beyond the agreed procedures," although the process  passed without incident.

Thus, the Armenian side, the day before spread information on the transfer of the hostage, and the day  of transference created the conditions for participation of journalists, and  arrived to  the place of meeting with the military.

In this connection, the State Commission, before the procedure, expressed its  remark, which, through the ICRC has been brought to the attention of employees of the State Commission on Prisoners of War of  Armenia.

The ICRC, in turn, tried to prevent this step  of the Armenian State Commission, but failed, according to information.—06D-
