The church complex, called by the Armenians Dadivank and located in the village of Vank of the Kelbajar region, is in the information agenda of all Russia.

The issue was so overblown that President Putin had already discussed it with President Ilham Aliyev; as if this church has the status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Such a sensitive approach of Russia to every requirement of the Armenians raises questions. Mosques in Agdam, Zangelan and Gubadli were turned into pigsties and cowsheds. Russia as a co-chair was well aware of this. However, we have never heard of any relation to this fact.

Until now, Russia has never expressed its attitude to the fact that 1 million Azerbaijanis have lived in tents in the steppes for decades. Despite the fact that every neighboring country and international organizations from 1993 to 2005 provided assistance with tents for refugees settled in the steppes, we did not see any assistance from the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Now all Russian departments are helping the Armenians.

Fizuli, Jabrail, Aghdam, Zangilan, Gubadli were wiped off the face of the earth. In other areas, nature is being destroyed and property burned, but Russia does not speak about it. On the other hand, Mr. Putin or Mr. Lavrov is well aware that the largest Armenian church is located in the center of Baku and millions of people pass by it every year, and everyone reacts to it absolutely normally, as to a religious temple.

As for Dadivank, this Albanian church has been located in the Azerbaijani village of Vank for hundreds of years and has always been under the protection of the Azerbaijani Muslim population who lived there. This was the case in Soviet times, when religious temples, churches and mosques were banned and their activities were limited. Unlike Armenians, the Azerbaijanis did not keep sheep and cows there. Vank was a village in which there were 55 houses, and Armenians never lived in the village itself and in its district. Everyone knows it.

On the contrary, a resident of the village Yusif Babashov was the keeper of this church and was responsible for the cleanliness and protection of the church. His house was also located 10 meters to the left of the church. Now that his house was burned down by the Armenians, Babashov's children watched it all on TV. This two-storey burning house is the home of the Bagirov Yagub and Bagirova Fazili families. The Armenians simply replaced the slate of the house and lived there. And now, leaving, they burned down their house too. On TV, it was seen how the house of Malasov Elmar Abdullah oglu burned down. From that side you can see how the house of Bagirov Gasim Mirsayad oglu is burning; and here is the house of Hamza kishi. All this is happening in the eyes of Russian peacekeepers. So why don't they interfere?

According to the commander of the group located in the village, they have established a post here with the blessing of Father Hovhannes  (priest) and are protecting the church. If there are no Azerbaijanis there, then whom are they protecting the church from? In addition, the image of the same Hovhannes with a submachine gun in his hands is spread on websites around the world not as a clergyman, but as an Armenian nationalist and murderer dressed in a clergy's cassock.

According to the press secretary of the Russian Ministry of Defense Konashenko, this post was created at the request of local residents. Who are these locals? These criminals illegally settled and seized the houses of the residents of the Vank village. Now they burn houses and run away from there. What local population did Konashenko mean? Do the Armenians determine the status of the territory of Kelbajar? Where did the trilateral statement go?

When the true masters of the Vank come to their village tomorrow, should they get permission from this post to enter it? The peasants are already unhappy with this and saddened. If someone wants to guard the church, let him place a tank at the entrance to the church, not at the entrance to the village. Residents of the village of Vank say that they have no prejudice towards the church, because it is part of the history of their village.
