Russian companies want to participate in the reconstruction of areas around Karabakh
Moscow/22.02.22/Turan: Russian companies are ready to actively participate in the privatization of Azerbaijani state-owned enterprises, the restoration of areas around Nagorno-Karabakh, the materials prepared for the talks between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, which began on Tuesday afternoon in the Kremlin, according to a TASS report.
"On the agenda is the intensification of economic ties through major flagship projects. Russian operators are ready to actively participate in the privatization of Azerbaijani state-owned enterprises, the restoration of areas around Nagorno-Karabakh," TASS said in a statement.
Russian direct investments in Azerbaijan amount to $4.5 billion, Azerbaijani direct investments in Russia - $1.5 billion. More than 900 joint companies operate in the republic, including about 300 with 100% Russian capital. -02D-
