How much gas has already been produced from the Shah Deniz field?

Nakhchivan's energy supply over the past three days has been provided by alternative (solar) and renewable (hydro) energy sources, the State Energy Service of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic announced on April 15.

On April 16, BP,  the operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) project, announced the start of oil production from the new Azeri Central East (ACE) platform as part of the development of the ACG field block in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

In January-February 2024, Azerbaijan declared exports of 6 million 274.45 thousand cubic meters of gas to Serbia,  the report of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to them, the cost of gas supplied amounted to $2 million 605.44 thousand. The talk is about the volumes issued (declared) by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, while all these volumes fell in February.

It is planned to create a green energy corridor from the Caspian Sea to the European Union, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated at the II annual Green Hydrogen Summit in the UAE. According to him, Azerbaijan is now planning to create a green energy corridor from the Caspian Sea to the European Union.
