SOCAR paid $853 million to the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2021

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov will take part in thematic discussions within the framework of the Sustainable Development Week of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Since the commissioning of the Baku-Supsa pipeline (WREP — Western Route Export Pipeline) until April 1 this year, 100 million tons of oil were transported through the pipeline, SOCAR  announced on its social media page.

In January-March of this year, Azerbaijan exported 105.24 thousand tons of petroleum products worth $62.83 million, the data of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have assessed the first auction for renewable energy and other projects to be implemented within the framework of the upcoming COP29, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on his account on the social network "X".
