Baku/03.11.21/Turan: According to the Act of Amnesty on the occasion of Victory Day, about 3,000 people will be released from prison. Besides, a part of the penalty yet unserved will be reduced for approx. 3,000 prisoners. This was reported by Parliamentary sources.
In total, the Amnesty will affect 16,000 persons.
The draft amnesty was submitted to Parliament by President Ilham Aliyev.
The document is expected to be adopted by the Milli Majlis on November 5.-06D-
