Baku / 10.05.19 / Turan: The midfielder of the London-based "Arsenal" of Armenian origin, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, will be able to come to Azerbaijan freely to participate in the European League final on May 29. This was reported by TASS with reference to UEFA.
"This is a standard procedure for UEFA to send letters of support to associations, clubs or embassies in order to obtain visas for football players and to provide them with the opportunity to participate in matches under the auspices of UEFA. We demanded assurances that Mkhitaryan would have no problems," the UEFA report says.
In response, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan confirmed that this player will not have problems with entry and stay in Azerbaijan, and that all necessary security measures will be taken.
