PFPA activists arrested for 30 days
Elkhan Aliyev and Ali Imanhanly were arrested for 30 days by a court decision. The court found both guilty under Art. 211 (violation of the quarantine regime) and 535.1 (non-submission to the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. -0-

Baku/09.05.20/Turan: Two members of the Popular Front Party Elkhan Aliyev and Ali Imankhanli were detained today. According to the PFPA, today the party’s activists were brought to the Narimanov court.
The reason for the detention is unknown. Apparently, they will also be administratively arrested for violating the quarantine regime and resisting the police.
Over the past month, 12 PFPA activists have been administratively arrested, and one was convicted. -0-
