Center for Hygiene found not suitable for swimming beaches Shikhovo and Sahil
Baku / 06.07.15 / Turan: Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health found Shikhovo and Sahil beaches in the Sabail and Garadag districts of the capital not suitable for bathing.
Analysis of sea water showed an excess of the content of E. coli on these beaches, and therefore bathing on them is considered inexpedient. Thus, the report says, the decision regarding the two beaches from 2010 remained in force.
Monitoring of sea water on the beaches, conducted by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health in conjunction with the Caspian Monitoring Office, began on May 16.
Officially, the beach season started in Baku on May 25. These beaches are the most accessible for the townspeople by location. -05C06-
