The importance of festive festivals on the occasion of Novruz holiday, the rise in price of the festive table, the lack of development in the regions is the focus of today's media.
The Azerbaijan newspaper - the article "Agricultural fairs satisfy both producers and consumers" evaluates the "social significance" of festive agricultural fairs. Farmers sell their products at 30-40 percent lower than the market prices. On the occasion of Novruz Bayram in Baku from March 16 to 21 such fairs will be organized in 14 locations in Baku.
The newspaper Yeni Musavat writes about the prices for the holiday table.
According to expert Gubad Ibadoglu, a festive table for five people will cost 121 AZN 12 gepik. Compared to 2012, this indicator increased 1.64 times. For example, butter "Ankor", which in 2012 cost 7 manat 80 gepik has risen by 2.1 times, and the price of beef, then sold for 6 AZN 1 kilo has now risen by 2 times. Ibadoglu notes that prices have increased even before the population has received increased benefits and pensions. In the current situation, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the government should strengthen anti-inflationary measures.
The site "Azadlıqinfo.az" in the article "Regions go to slavery" writes about the difficult financial situation of the population in the regions of the country. It is alleged that in the regions unemployment reaches 80 percent. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, the amount of funds sent from Russia has sharply decreased. Secondly, agriculture has not become a profitable sphere. Third, state investments do not reach the regions, but are appropriated.
Farmers do not have funds to grow agricultural structures, and the land is gradually moving into the rivers of large landlords. -06D-
