The opportunities of Azerbaijan in international transport transit, the refusal of wastefulness at weddings, and the organization of Gurban Bayram (Sacrificial Offerings Holiday) in the country are media topics.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes that the country has become a space for international transit, despite the lack of access to the ocean. However, the transport corridors East-West and North-South turned Azerbaijan into an important transport corridor.
The author recalls the International Maritime Trade Port and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the length of which is 846 km.
The Musavat website writes about lavish weddings in Azerbaijan, reminding that this wastefulness has already been banned in Nakhchivan.
Experts remind that there are weddings where food per person costs 150-200 manat.
According to experts, prohibitions cannot solve the problem here, and an example is necessary. Changing the rules of wedding celebrations will hit the wedding business and the houses of celebrations, where weddings are arranged.
The website Azadliq.info writes about the Gurban Bayram holiday, which the government cannot really organize.
So, the allocated places for slaughter of cattle are a source of unsanitary conditions. At the fair organized by the authorities for the sale of sacrificial sheep, there are no services for slaughtering cattle. This is done by random people for 10 manat. -0-----
