Snowfalls and Frosts Throughout Azerbaijan
Baku / 09.02.20 / Turan: From the evening of February 8, a sharp drop in temperature and precipitation in the form of snow has been observed throughout Azerbaijan.
Most snow fell in the northern region. In the mountains, the snow cover was 40 cm, and the temperature dropped to -15 degrees below zero.
Most of the snow fell in the region of the highest mountain village of the country - Khinalig - 43 cm. On the morning of February 9, snowfall continues.
According to the Ministry of Environment, snowfall will continue on Sunday. The wind will be westerly and gusty. Throughout the country, minus temperatures will remain, and in the mountains it will be colder by 5-7 degrees.
In the lower part of the country, the temperature will be up to +5 degrees by day, but by the evening it will again become frosty.
In Baku, it is wet in the morning and this will continue all day. The strong north wind will blow. Day and night, the air temperature will be + 1 + 3 degrees. -02D-
