Tenth dead oilman is found (UPDATED)
The body of the 10th Azerbaijani oilman died in fire on 4 December was found in the Turkmen coast. Previously the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan reported finding the 9th deceased - Azizaga Guliyev, and today came the news about the 10th oilman - Adil Ablullayev. On 4 January the Emergencies Ministry plane with the investigation team and the staff of SOCAR on board flew to Turkmenistan to take away the dead. As a result of accident at the offshore platform "Gunashli" on 4 December 30 oilmen were lost. To date, 20 oilmen remain missing. -03D-

The body of another Azerbaijani oilman lost in the accident and fire on the platform №10 Guneshli has been found in the Caspian Sea, 65 km from the coast of Turkmenistan. The body with the inscription Azneft on the clothes was found by the vessel Cursor.
The nearby Turkmen vessel Topaz Legend was sent the information, and then the man's body was delivered to the port Kiyanly, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
On December 4, a severe storm damaged the underwater high pressure gas pipeline, which resulted in a fire on the Guneshli platform No 10 developed by SOCAR. Thirty-three people were rescued from the platform, the bodies of nine dead were found, and 21 oilmen were lost. Also lost were three men from the Oil Rocks field. They were in a van thrown by the hurricane into the sea also on December 4. -06D-
