Command of the Turkish armed forces arrived in Azerbaijan
Baku/04.10.22/Turan: Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar arrived in Azerbaijan.
According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, Hulusi is accompanied by Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Yasar Gul, Commander of the Ground Forces Musa Avsever, Commander of the Naval Forces Arkan Tatlioglu, Commander of the Air Force Atilla Gul and other high-ranking officers.
The report says that a one-on-one and expanded meeting was held between the defense ministers of the two countries.
"The liberation of the occupied lands by Azerbaijan has opened a window of historic opportunity for peace and stability in the South Caucasus," the Turkish Minister of National Defense said.
The Turkish minister noted that Armenia is again trying to commit provocations in the region. "Armenia must stop provocations. Within the framework of the agreements reached with Azerbaijan, Yerevan should focus on peaceful negotiations and cooperation, tighten the hand extended with peaceful intentions," he said.
The visit of the Minister of National Security of Turkey to Azerbaijan coincided with yesterday's official visit of the Minister of Defense of Israel. -03-
