JSC Agroleasing Helps Georgian Grain Growers
A column of combine harvesters crossed the Azerbaijani-Georgian border on July 17 to assist the Georgian grain growers. Within 20-25 days the Azerbaijani grain harvesters will take part in the machine harvesting of wheat in the Kakheti province of Georgia, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
By agreement of the parties more than 30 combine harvesters of the brands Klaas and New Holland have been sent to Georgia. The Deputy Minister of Georgia Uiri Nozadze arrived in Baku with a special message last week.
This is the first case when Georgia officially seeks help from Azerbaijan for harvesting grain crops. -----08D

Last year, Azerbaijan's exports fell sharply. In 2024, the country's exports amounted to $26.55 billion, while imports stood at $21.06 billion. The positive trade balance was $5.50 billion, according to the State Customs Committee (SCC).
