Congratulations of the US Secretary of State for celebrating Novruz
Baku /26.03.19 / Turan: The US Secretary of State Mayk Pompeo wished "happy Nowruz to the people of Iran and everyone who celebrates this ancient tradition, which marks the beginning of spring and New Year, including the people of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kurds, and their communities in the United States."
"For millennia, Novruz has been the cornerstone of culture and heritage for many nations and societies. Novruz allows family members and friends to gather and reflect on the past, celebrating the future, and it is also time to socialize with loved ones, no matter how far they are. Iranians celebrating Novruz this year should have unlimited access to social networking sites in order to share photos from their festive events and send New Year greetings to people who live in other cities or even abroad. "The proud Iranian people deserve the opportunity to enjoy a better life without fear of repression," the message says. -0-

In Earth's upper atmosphere, a fast-moving band of air called the jet stream blows with winds of more than 275 miles (442 km) per hour, but they are not the strongest in our solar system. The comparable high-altitude winds on Neptune reach about 1,200 miles (2,000 km) per hour. Those, however, are a mere breeze compared to the jet-stream winds on a planet called WASP-127b.
