Experts from Baku and Tbilisi will visit disputed sections of the border together
Baku/19.08.19/Turan: On August 19, the first meeting of the expert group of Azerbaijan and Georgia on delimitation of the state border was held. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the parties expressed their positions on the uncoordinated sections and planned a joint inspection of these places.
The Georgian side confirmed this information, noting that visits to the disputed areas and "joint measurements" will take place before August 23.
The main differences are regarding the laying of the border near the monastery complex Keshikchidag - David Gareji. The Georgian side claims to be part of the territory of Azerbaijan, where there are two objects of this monastery. -16D-
