Baku/27.04.21/Turan: Having arrived today in Zangilan, liberated from occupation, the head of state Ilham Aliyev took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation of a new airport. The length of the airport's runway will be 3 km., and it will be able to receive all types of aircraft, including cargo ones.
The construction of an airport in Zangilan creates opportunities for transforming this region into a transport and logistics center, Aliyev said and added that it is planned to build three airports in the liberated territories in Karabakh.
"At present, work continues on the construction of an airport in Fizuli, which will start working this year," Aliyev said. -02D-
