Baku / 06/15/19/ Turan: First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva expressed condolences to the family of former President Abulfaz Elchibey, in connection with the death of his spouse Halima Aliyeva.
According to a report from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the authorities assumed the costs of the funeral.
The wife of ex-President Abulfaz Elchibey died in Istanbul on June 14. She will be buried in her native village Keleki (Ordubad district of Nakhchivan). Elchibey himself died in 2000 and was buried in Baku. -02D-
