From Monday October 24 the weather conditions in Azerbaijan will again deteriorate. In Baku and Absheron downpours are expected. The temperature will fall to +9 degrees, forecasters said.
Intense rains and thunderstorms will take place throughout the country. In the mountains there will be snowfalls. The temperature in the mountains will fall up to three degrees below zero at night.
Such cold weather with precipitations and northwestern wind will continue until October 26.
According to international sources, the current cold snap is due to the cold weather front moving to the South Caucasus from the north. -02D-
