Croatian President`s Visit (UPDATED)Ilham Aliyev Received President of Croatia
On Monday, the head of state Ilham Aliyev received the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, who arrived in Baku on an official visit the day before.
The meeting took place in the Zagulba residence of the head of state in the seaside suburbs of Baku. The subject of the negotiations has not been reported. However, with high probability it can be argued that Croatia is interested in investments from Azerbaijan, procurement of the Azerbaijani gas and development of the bilateral relations in trade and tourism.
Azerbaijan already implements significant investments into neighboring Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece. Therefore, the wishes of the Croatian side are quite understandable. -02D-
