The creation of railway infrastructure, difficulties in the field of trade and electronic delivery of goods to citizens, and the causes of houses without relevant documentation are the leading topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the railway infrastructure, which is going through a period of its recovery. The author recalls that President Ilham Aliyev attended on May 21 the opening of the Sabunchu complex of the railway station. This is a three-story building with a waiting room, storage rooms, ticket offices, and information offices. New platforms and two pedestrian subways were built and three railway lines were rebuilt.
A 17-m underground passage was built on the road to the Mammadli village, as well as a 22-m underpass on the road to the Kurdakhani village, and two overpasses. The article also covers railway projects of a local nature.
The website Yenisabah.az writes that a normal system of delivering goods ordered by electronic commerce to citizens has not yet been established. Customs and Azerpocht, possessing large resources, have not been able to adjust this system. And the parcels are always opened at the customs. Customs officers explain this with the fact that the senders deliberately underestimate the cost of the parcels. Experts insist on creating a special transparent system in this area.
The website Hurriyyet.org writes that the State Property Committee creates artificial obstacles for registering houses. The author recalls the creation of the Baku Mayoralty"s office in connection with houses without documentation. According to official information, they are more than 700 thousand.
The expert notes that in fact, not a single house was built without permission. They had, at the time of construction, permits from the executive branch and municipalities. Now, when citizens receive documents for their homes, the State Property Committee creates obstacles, so the citizens have to pay extra.
