SOCAR evacuated 700 oil workers, Caspar urged ships to shelter from the storm
Baku/08.08.19/ Turan: Due to stormy weather, 700 oil workers working in the offshore fields were evacuated from sea to shore. The main work in these fields has been suspended, Turan was told in the press service of the state oil company SOCAR.
In turn, the Caspian Shipping Company said that due to stormy weather, a storm warning was sent to the ships of Caspar. All ships in transit are ordered to head to shelters and ride out the storm. The access to the sea of the remaining vessels is suspended.
A strong storm began in the Caspian on August 5 and will last until the 8th. The wind speed in Absheron and the Caspian will be 30-35 meters per second, the height of the sea waves will be several meters. -03 / 02B-
