State Allocates 1.8 Million Manats to Religious Bodies of Azerbaijan
Baku / 21.06.17 / Turan: By order of President Ilham Aliyev, the religious bodies of the country have been allocated assistance in the amount of 1.8 million manats.
The Caucasus Muslims Office was allocated 1 million manats.
The Baku eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church and the religious community of Mountain Jews received 250,000 manats.
100 thousand manats each was allocated to the community of European Jews, the Catholic Church of Baku and the Albanian -Udi community. The funds were allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of Azerbaijan. -02D-

Lawyer Agil Layij has accused the chairman of the Baku Court of Appeals, Mubariz Akperov, of mismanagement and called on President Ilham Aliyev to intervene. Layij voiced his concerns in a Facebook post, stating that Akperov's leadership has reduced legal defense to a "formal level."

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the regulation on the allocation of funds collected from traffic fines, initially established in 1999.
