The action of political emigrants in Berlin
Baku / 10.05.19 / Turan: On May 10, a group of Azerbaijani political émigrés in Berlin held a protest rally in front of the Romanian embassy. They demanded to remove the monument to Heydar Aliyev, installed in Bucharest.
According to Azadlig Radio, the protesters said that during the rule of Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan, fundamental rights and freedoms of a person were grossly violated. They called on the Romanian authorities to take this into account.
Those protesters in front of the embassy were holding posters with photos of political prisoners in Azerbaijan and posters demanding to release them. -16D-
