Azerbaijan Buys Military Products for $ 5 Billion from Russia
Baku / 01.09.18 / Turan: Azerbaijan purchased military-technical products for more than $ 5 billion from Russia, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said on Saturday after his talks with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, TASS reports.
"We discussed further cooperation in the military-technical sphere. It already has great traditions. The military-technical products purchased by Azerbaijan in Russia exceed $ 5 billion, and this tends to grow," Aliyev said.
He explained that "Azerbaijan continues to modernize its Armed Forces, and Russia is the world's most important producer and supplier of military products to international markets." -06D-
