PFPA member Nijat Abdullayev arrested
Baku/10.04.20/Turan: Member of the Supreme Mejlis of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Nijat Abdullayev was arrested by the Binagadi district court on the basis of Article 535 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for 30 days. This was reported in PFPA.
According to the report, Abdullaev was detained by men in civilian clothes when he left the house at about 2 pm and went to the nearest store. Abdullaev was taken to the Binagadi District Police Department No. 43, where he was brought to court under article 211 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (violation of quarantine rules against the epidemic). However, Judge Vusal Tagiyev terminated article 211 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Nijat Abdullaev was punished under article 535 (police resistance) of the Criminal Code.
The party attributes the arrest of Abdullaev to his political activities. —0--
