Baku Exhibition Season to Open 2 April
In 2015, Iteca Caspian has scheduled 19 specialized exhibitions and 2 conferences. From April 2, will open three exhibitions dedicated to the tourism sector ("Travel and Tourism» AITF, «Everything for hotels and supermarkets» HOREX Caucasus and "Boats and Yachts» CIBS), who on the eve of the active tourist season will show the most current trends and services.
Next held will be the transport exhibition TransCaspian and Road & Traffic (12-14 May).
In the "Year of Agriculture" in Azerbaijan there is increased interest in the food industry exhibition World Food Azerbaijan and agricultural exhibition Caspian Agro, which is scheduled for May 21-23. They are expected to be attended by over 250 companies.
There will also be an exhibition of traditional oil and gas industry, health, education, environment, telecommunications, etc.
The main innovation of this year, visitors will be "plastic card visitor", which will open its holder free access without registration. Over 30% of visitors chose to use the Fast Track service in 2014. In a short time the organizers of exhibitions will introduce electronic registration by downloading mobile applications on Android phones and iOS. ---08D

Azerbaijan’s state-owned electricity producer, Azerenergy, is advancing the construction of six hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) in the Kalbajar and Lachin districts as part of the country’s efforts to expand its renewable energy capacity. The plants, with a combined capacity of 37.5 megawatts (MW), are expected to be commissioned in the first half of 2025, according to the company.
