More than 150 Companies with Azerbaijani Capital Registered in Turkey
During the first 11 months of 2014, 153 companies with Azerbaijani capital were founded in Turkey. On the number of established companies, Azerbaijan is among the top ten investors in the neighboring country.
Over the period, according to the Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, there were established 38 joint-stock companies with capital exceeding 44 million TL, of which 27.4 million TL (62.3%) belongs to Azerbaijani entrepreneurs. The remaining companies (115) were established in the form of limited liability companies.
It should be noted that in 2013 in Turkey Azerbaijani investors participated in the creation of 178 companies (including - 43 JSC), the formation of capital of which was invested more than 50 million TL. Most of these companies finally belong to investors from Azerbaijan, as they are formed at an average of 58.75% by their capital.
Azerbaijani investors create mainly companies operating in the hospitality and food business, import-export activities, trade, transport, etc. --08B-
