Turkish military expert: We have no choice but to camly observe the Idlib events
Istanbul / 20.01.19 / Turan: Turkish military expert: "We have no choice but to camly observe the Idlib events", a military psychologist, retired General Osman Gazi Kandemir told Turan. Asking the questionfrom Turan whether Moscow will present another postponement of Ankara to withdraw terrorists from Idlib at the upcoming Erdogan-Putin meeting, where this will be the main one, Osman Ghazi Kandemir replied: "Turkey does not want to clear Idlib from terrorists by military means, because there is a threat that in this case more than 500 thousand refugees from this region will flood Turkey"s border. Russia is putting pressure to destroy terrorist groups, half of which come from Chechnya. I think that Turkey should continue the policy of "soft transition" and make every effort to convince and achieve an understanding of large states for the implementation of this particular policy. Other options will create very serious problems for Turkey."
The novel "Gvozdika" by General Osman Gazi Kandemir dedicated to the tragedy of January 20, 1990, was recently published.
On Sunday, Osman Ghazi Kandemir made a report "The past, present and future of Syria" at a conference organized by the World Research Foundation of Turkey, and also signed the book "Gvozdika" for readers. -0-
