Employees of Baku Office of Radio Liberty Summoned for Questioning in Droves
After a search of the Baku office of the Azerbaijani service of Radio Liberty, removal of the equipment and documentation and the sealing of the office, staff of this radio is in droves summoned for questioning to the Prosecutor General. On February 3, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan annulled the results of the municipal elections held on January 29 at six polling stations. In particular, the voting results were declared invalid due to violations identified at polling stations NN: 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 in the 81st Imishli constituency.
