The trial in the case of Leyla Yunus was postponed for August 4 morning, according to the lawyer Afghan Mammadov.

As an informed source told Turan, the trial should be resumed at 14:00 and the doctors will be in the hall. The medical team is expected to change.
At the same time, the lawyer Elchin Gambarov said that an "attending" physician from the MNS jail came to Arif Yunus.

Today at Baku Court of Grave Crimes at the trial of the human rights defenders Leyla and Arif Yunus, the authorities further restricted access of independent observers to the trial.
Thus, in contrast to previous meetings even a single representative of the independent press was not allowed in.
With great difficulty, representatives of the embassies of the United States, Germany and the EU managed to enter, but the translators of Western diplomats were not allowed.
Shortly after the beginning of the trial, an ambulance came to the courthouse. The lawyer Elchin Gambarov told Turan Arif Yunus’s health sharply deteriorated. His blood pressure jumped up to 200/130and he lost consciousness. The trial was interrupted. The arriving doctors injected him with Magnesium.
Simultaneously, two Range Rover cars with tinted windows came to the courthouse.
Recall that Arif Yunus twice endured a hypertensive crisis during his arrest and while trying to search his apartment.
By 11.50 the state of Arif Yunus stabilized to an extent. His blood pressure dropped to 160 and he regained consciousness, the lawyer Elchin Gambarov said.
Doctors assisted him in the courtroom, which is packed with people and is very stuffy. Moreover, Arif and Leyla Yunus are sitting in a glass cage called “aquarium”.
