Six days after the drone attack on Nakhchivan, the question of who was responsible for the operation remains open. Immediately after the incident, officials in Tehran suggested that Israel might be behind the attack in an attempt to drive a wedge between Azerbaijan and Iran. However, representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) effectively acknowledged the possibility that structures connected to them could have been involved in the operation.

The meeting of Azerbaijan’s Commission on Combating Corruption held on February 15 was, formally, technical in nature. Proposals to enhance transparency were discussed, along with a draft framework for managing corruption risks and the approval of a work plan for the next period. The commission also reviewed reports on the implementation of recommendations made by international organizations.

Скорее всего мы по сей день видим лишь верхнюю часть айсберга и можем только догадываться, что предпринималось властями РФ в первые часы после трагедии по закрытым дипломатическим каналам и вызвало справедливый гнев руководства Азербайджана.
