The Ministry of Defense confirmed the death of a serviceman
Baku / 23.11.17 / Turan: The body of the Azerbaijani serviceman, found on the contact line today, belongs to Bahruz Jalilbeyli Parviz oglu, born in 1998. The body was discovered in the direction of the Ordubad region of Nakhchivan, near the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's press service said on Thursday.
According to the same source, Jalilbeyli, left the duty station after committing a war crime. He was called up for active military service in January 2017. It is not reported how the serviceman went to the Armenian positions and what crime he committed.
In turn, the State Commission of Azerbaijan for prisoners of war and hostages appealed to international organizations with an appeal to help with obtaining the body of the deceased. -02D-

On January 29, municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan, with over 16,000 candidates participating across 118 constituencies. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has already announced the names of the leading candidates on its website.
