American Film Festival "The Power of the Human Spirit"
Baku / 04.26.19 / Turan: The Embassy of the United States of America in Azerbaijan is pleased to announce a joint American Film Festival with the Park Cinema chain. All films will be shown in the Park Cinema Flame Towers from May 1 to 5 and will be dedicated to the power of the human spirit.
Five stunning and diverse films, including Man on the Moon, Handsome Boy, Green Book, With Love, Simon, and The Star Was Born, will be shown in English with Russian subtitles. The ticket price is 2 manat. They can be purchased at www.parkcinema.az and the Park Cinema box office.
The US Embassy in Azerbaijan thanks Park Cinema for hosting this event and invites the Azerbaijani public to join in watching films with major awards:

In a celebration of artistic exchange and cultural diplomacy, the Ambassador Cultural Club in Baku hosted the third phase of the “Hungary Through the Eyes of Azerbaijani Artists” project, featuring a curated exhibition of paintings inspired by Hungarian traditions and heritage. The initiative, organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Azerbaijan and the independent arts platform «Arts Council Azerbaijan», marks a deepening of artistic and cultural ties between the two nations.

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.

Marking a significant milestone in her career, the exhibition coincided with the artist’s birthday, adding a personal resonance to the occasion.

In a long-awaited moment for Azerbaijani cinema, local directors unveiled their latest works, bringing a mix of animation, drama, and childhood reveries to the silver screen. The films, Erkən Hisslər by Nurlan Həsənli, Tərsinə Kölgələr by Hacı Səfərov, and Nərqız, an animated feature by Məsud Pənahi, were met with both enthusiasm and critique as they debuted to eager audiences.
