SOCAR Joins Israeli Gas Project in the Mediterranean

US President D. Trump signed an order imposing 25% tariffs on goods imported into the US from Canada and Mexico, as well as a 10% tariff on Canadian energy resources, effective from February 4, 2025.

Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) has initiated its first project on ground-based airborne gravity surveys in collaboration with the renowned British company Metatek. "The aim of this advanced study is to obtain highly accurate geological data across vast areas in the shortest possible time," said SOCAR.

As a result, Fitch views the bond rating as equal to Azerbaijan's long-term foreign currency rating (BBB-/Stable).
