Baku/08.04.22/Turan: On Friday, a telephone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation - Jeyhun Bayramov and Sergey Lavrov.
The parties discussed the current situation in the region and the implementation of the tripartite statements (of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Russian Federation), the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
The ministers exchanged views on topical issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation.
The parties also discussed the situation in and around Ukraine, as well as other issues of mutual interest.—06B-

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
