"Classics" condemn the closure of Radio "Azadlig"
The party "Classic Popular Front" condemned the closure of the Baku office of radio "Azadlig." The statement authors remind us that the official Baku continues repression despite local and international protest. The party considers an illegal search in the editorial office, recalling that it was the only media alert the world about the events of January 1990.
The ruling regime makes a "crusade" against his people, trying to silence all the structures and people struggling for freedom.
The statement calls on the authorities to provide the freedom of expression and to stop illegal pressure on the radio "Azadlig", release from detention journalists and all political prisoners. -05D04-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
