Defense Ministry Announced Re-enlisted Service
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced the procedure for those wishing to undergo re-enlisted military service. This is done by "taking into account the numerous citizens' complaints about the desire to go through re-enlist,” the report says.
Reservists who wish to undergo re-enlist should refer to the command of the units where they want to serve or to the Armed Force Training and Education Centre.
Those will be accepted for active military service, who have not less than secondary education, up to 40 years of age (except for officers and warrant officers), as well as women from 19 to 40 years old.
Their training in the Armed Forces will be carried out in the Training and Education Center every year in January, April, July and October.
The applicants will pass professional and psychological commissions. Also taken into account will be the physical training of the candidate, the general level of sociability, the individual psychological and other qualities.
The Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense will determine the degree of fitness for the service, after which the people will be allowed to exams at the Education and Training Center.
Those who have passed the exam will take 4-8 week training courses and receive re-enlist for the respective specialties.
For admission to re-enlist the following documents are required:
- An application;
- The biography;
- A copy of education certificate, certified by a notary;
- The birth certificate;
- A copy of the marriage certificate, if any;
- Copies of the birth certificates of children;
- Characteristics from the place of work or study;
- A certificate of residence and the family composition;
- Two photos;
- A document of no criminal record;
- A copy of the identity card;
- A health certificate;
