Social Project #GücümüzBərabərdir Launched to Promote Gender Equality
Baku / 05/12/19 / Turan: The project #GücümüzBərabərdir ("Our forces are equal") ha been launched, calling for equal opportunities and rights for women and men.
Initiators call for gender equality and increased female participation.
Everyone who supports the equality of women with men can participate in the project through the publication of images of the hands of each other on their pages on social networks.
The social campaign #GücümüzBərabərdir is intended, by presenting an alternative to the stereotypes of women in society, to promote equality of the rights of women with men.
"UNICEF is for the coexistence of men and women, girls and boys in equal rights and opportunities. The Constitution of Azerbaijan also guarantees equal rights for women and men. But do we live in these equal conditions and opportunities?", says the appeal of the campaign, which calls everyone to become part of this project.
The project was developed by the Fırfıra (Whirligig) movement, the purpose of which is to draw public attention to social problems and to promote the formation of a healthy environment in it.
The movement call has already been supported by many people on Facebook and Instagram platforms.
