The court acquitted the driver carrying more than 500 kilo of heroin
Baku / 10.10.19 / Turan: On October 10, the Lankaran Serious Crimes Court acquitted Nasrulla Abbasov, accused of transporting more than 500 kilo 635 gram of heroin from Iran.
According to the prosecution, Abbasov entered into a conspiracy to transport a large consignment of drugs.
According to lawyer Anar Gasimli, the court did not confirm the criminal intent of Abbasov and he was released in the courtroom.
The fact of stopping the transportation of a large batch of heroin was reported on May 24, 2018 by the State Customs Committee.
The report said that 515 kg of heroin, packaged by 1 kg, were identified in refractory briquettes.
Drugs were transported in a truck going from Iran to Azerbaijan. Drugs were discovered by a specially trained dog. Briquettes with heroin were packaged and collected in 4 pallets.-21B-
