The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan will attract the company Huawei (PRC) to the establishment of broadband Internet in Azerbaijan.
Yesterday this issue was raised during the meeting of the Acting Minister Ramin Guluzadeh with CEO Liu Jianwey.
The project Development of Multimedia Services became possible after the Ministry of Communications got 13.7 million EUR from Amsterdam Trade Bank in April this year. According to the idea, the money will provide high-quality broadband Internet in the cities of Sumgait and Ganja, as well as in the Absheron, Zagatala, Shamkir, Khachmaz, Goygol, Agdam, Barda and Terter regions.
This means the installation and commissioning of facilities for 64,000 dial numbers. Besides these areas, facilities for 98,000 ports will be installed and put into operation in 47 cities and districts. --17D-
