Baku / 21.05.19 / Turan: This year pilgrims to Mecca from Azerbaijan will be delivered by the national air carrier AZAL.
The corresponding agreement was signed between the Caucasian Muslims Department (CMD) and AZAL.
Flights from Baku to Mecca will be carried out from August 1 to 6. Return flights will take place from 21 to 25 August.
According to the CMD, the number of people willing to perform the Hajj from Azerbaijan this year is 900.
Last year, the number of pilgrims from Azerbaijan totaled 1,400 people. This year, the cost of Hajj
increased by $ 75, reaching $ 4,225 per person. -0-
