ADA Students Come to AZAL and Visit Silk Way Holding
On October 25, CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) organized for students of ADA University a tour of a number of civil aviation facilities.
Students are familiarized with the Silkway Technics hangar complex in which there are all conditions for the maintenance of modern aircraft to the world standards, the press service of the airport told Turan.
The students visited the Baku Cargo Terminal - the largest logistics center in the region.
The next point of the tour was Silk Way Business Aviation. Here, the students visited the Gulfstream business jets.
The tour ended with visiting a passenger plane. The students also visited the cockpit.
In other words, the students arrived at AZAL and visited Silk Way Holding. Almost all objects of civil aviation at the International Airport are owned and operated by this private company. --08D--

In late February, the governments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to sign an investment agreement worth $2 billion, which will include several projects with SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan). According to Turan, the energy cooperation projects discussed in January in Islamabad and Baku will feature in the agreement. These projects include energy efficiency initiatives, the construction of a pipeline, and SOCAR’s plans to explore the creation of underground gas storage facilities in Pakistan, as well as documents provided by the Pakistani side related to the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons in the country.
