Fares on route buses and metro grew by 33%
Baku/31.01.23/Turan: Azerbaijan is raising fares for public transport from 3 February. Such a decision was made by the Tariff Council.
So, a fare on local bus transport and the Baku Metro has been raised from AZN 0.3 to AZN 0.4. Thus, the increase amounted to 33%.
Travel on suburban and intercity bus routes will be 0.4-1 AZN depending on the distance.
Tariff for long-distance bus routes is set at the rate of 0.03 manat per each km.
