Heavy Fighting Continues, Armenian Side Suffers Serious Losses
Baku / 13.10.20 / Turan: On the night of October 12-13, the enemy continued to violate the ceasefire and attempted to attack Azerbaijani positions in small groups in the Agdere-Agdam and Fizuli-Hadrut directions. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
During the retaliatory actions of the Azerbaijani army in different directions of the front, a large number of enemy personnel, as well as three Grad BM-21 installations, one Tor-M2KM anti-aircraft missile system, one Shilka anti-aircraft system, and two BMP-2s were destroyed and disabled, as well as three 2A36 Hyacinth-B cannons, one KS-19 anti-aircraft gun, one D-20 howitzer, three unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as several vehicles.
According to the available information, during the fighting, the personnel of the 5th Mountain Rifle Regiment of the Armenian Armed Forces was destroyed, and the manpower of the 1st Motorized Rifle Regiment, up to one company in number, was lured and ambushed.
A column of vehicles of the 4th motorized rifle regiment in the Askeran direction, as well as a group of volunteers moving from the settlement of Sisian in Armenia towards the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, were destroyed by fire.
In the units of the Armenian army, the resistance of which has been completely broken, there are cases of mass desertion. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces retain their operational advantage along the entire front. -02D-
