Metamorphoses of Armenian Logic

Baku / 05.10.20 / Turan: The lack of logic and lies of the Armenian side have long surprised no one, but the events of the last two days can be considered a unique phenomenon.

To do this, it is enough to simply trace the chronology of the statements of the officials of Yerevan and the Karabakh Armenians. They threaten to smash the floor of Azerbaijan, report on the destruction of the Ganja airfield, and then they assure that they have nothing to do with it.

Subjecting rocket fire to cities and settlements along the perimeter of Karabakh and in the depths of the territory of Azerbaijan, the Armenians initially reported this with pride and threatened to shoot even further. When they began to do this, they said that "we have nothing to do with it."

Here are excerpts from the reports of the Armenian media for October 3-4, confirming the above:

1) “The military airport of Azerbaijan in Ganja has been destroyed. Press secretary of the President of Karabakh Vahram Poghosyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

2) “The military facilities of Azerbaijan located in large cities have now become targets of our army. I urge the local population of these cities to hastily leave in order to avoid possible victims,” wrote the so-called “president”of Karabakh Harutyunyan on his Facebook page.

3) "The Defense Army of Karabakh began to deliver powerful strikes against the most important military infrastructures deep behind enemy lines," the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan wrote on her Facebook page.

4) “Multimillion-dollar Western projects, infrastructures, gas pipelines and oil pipelines in Azerbaijan should, as a guarantor of regional security, continue to be under the gun of the Armenian armed forces. From now on, this is a matter of primary importance,” Armenian MP Arman Babajanyan wrote on his Facebook page.

5) “If for the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan the cities of Stepanakert, Martuni, Hadrut, Martakert and other settlements are permitted zones of hostilities, the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh responds very toughly with professional actions. The consequences for Azerbaijan will be dire,” Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan said.

6) The Defense Army, as a gesture of our goodwill, will not aim at those enemy military targets located in Talyshstan and Lezgistan,” Arayik Harutyunyan.

7) After the strike on the Gandzak airport, the Azerbaijani authorities did not take any steps in terms of organizing the defense and security of the population of a fairly large city - representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

8) The situation provides us with a legitimate right to transfer our further actions to the entire territory of Azerbaijan in order to clear it of terrorist groups - adviser to the leader of Karabakh Vahram Poghosyan.

9) “Even without presenting at least one proof, the Azerbaijani side now claims that the Armenian armed forces allegedly targeted the territory of Khizi and Absheron,” the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan wrote on her Facebook page. “Another lie clearly indicates that Azerbaijan is preparing the ground for provocation,” she also noted.
