Moscow/12.01.20/Turan: Russia and Turkey will have an equal number of representatives in the joint center for monitoring the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh being created in Azerbaijan, the Russian Defense Ministry said on December 1.

"The number of Russian and Turkish personnel in the organizational structure of the joint center will be equal," said Russian Defense Ministry representative Igor Konashenkov at a briefing on Tuesday.

The center will be located on the territory of Azerbaijan.

An agreement on the procedure for its deployment and operation was reached by the Russian and Turkish defense ministries on November 11.

He did not disclose details of the Center's work. We will remind that the Turkish side announced earlier that the Turkish military together with the Russian would circulate between the posts of peacekeepers. -02D-
