Seyran Ohanyan Put on Wanted List
Baku / 23.11.20 / Turan: Azerbaijan has declared the former Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan wanted.
The decision was made by the judge of the Baku military court Elbey Allahverdiyev on the proposal of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan.
Ohanyan is charged under Art. 103 (genocide) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The court in absentia chose a preventive measure against him in the form of arrest.
Ohanyan is charged with participation in the genocide of the Azerbaijani population of the city of Khojaly in February 1992. During the seizure of this settlement by Armenian armed formations, over 600 civilians were killed. -16d-
